Welcome to the first issue of 2013! This time around, we have cover artwork by Lisa Grabenstetter.

This issue, we are lucky enough to have a story by E. Catherine Tobler, who has contributed several stories to our anthologies. She’s also just sold the first two novels in a series: Rings of Anubis: Gold and Glass from Masque Books, with Silver and Steam to follow. Congrats, Cat!

We also have some wonderful tales of the weird and macabre, from Steve Toase and many others. This is the first issue where we also include some poetry, which previously appeared on our website during the winter. We will continue to release some micro-fiction or poems between issues.

Talking about poetry, Bryan Thao Worra’s poetry collection Demonstra will be out this spring. In the summer, you can look forward to Confraternitas, the urban fantasy sequel to Fraterfamilias. In the fall, we should be unleashing Sword and Mythos onto the world.

And now, without much ado, enjoy the latest issue of Innsmouth Magazine, which contains a girl that cannot die, a bizarre birth and a guest appearance by Nyarlathotep.
