Found on the Net: The Unspeakable Oath Returns

By Silvia Moreno-Garcia

unspeakable_oathThe Unspeakable Oath, the magazine dedicated to Call of Cthulhu and Cthulhu Mythos gaming, returns to print almost a decade after its last issue. Unspeakable Oath ran quarterly from 1990 to 2001 before going on hiatus. Arc Dream Publishing has announced it will bring back the Unspeakable Oath. Its first issue is expected to ship in December.

It promises 64 pages of content as a 8.5″ x 11″, “perfect bound” publication with black-and-white interiors. The magazine will also be available in electronic format for the iPad, iPhone, Kindle, and as a PDF.

The publication says it is “created and published by game designers, writers and artists who love Cthulhu Mythos gaming; every issue provides ideas, inspiration, tools, and techniques to make your games more horrific than ever.”

Staff include well-known people in Cthulhu circles, such as Monte Cook and Kenneth Hite. If you’re interested in some Unspeakable merchandise, visit CafePress.
