Here’s another Kickstarter project. Asylum is a point-and-click adventure video game with horror elements, or, as the official website says, “A psychological horror adventure inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and set in a massive, decaying mental institute.”
Asylum is being developed by Senscape, an Argentinian company headed by Agustín Cordes. He previously designed and developed Scratches, which sold over 250,000 copies.
The Kickstarter page says:
“There is a lot to investigate and discover and, quite literally, an entire asylum available to explore. Close to 100 rooms, in fact. You might think we’re a bunch of slightly deranged people to have created a game of this scope on our own and with close to no budget…and you may actually be right.”
Rewards include t-shirts, beta access, signed boxes, and much more. The game will be available for PC, Mac and Linux.
There’s a website with some videos and more information. Overall, this look like a very interesting indie project.
