Found on the Net: JJA Hearts Cthulhu

By Silvia Moreno-Garcia

Attention fans of all things Cthulhu: noted anthologist John Joseph Adams, who recently released The Living Dead II and The Way of the Wizard, and who is also the editor of of Fantasy Magazine and Lightspeed Magazine, is helming an anthology of Cthulhu/Mythos reprint stories. The anthology will be published by Night Shade Books and will likely be called The Book of Cthulhu, with a fall 2011 release date. Adams is inviting readers to suggest stories for consideration by using a simple form.

Adams says: “Writers: You’re welcome to recommend your own work. You may also contact me via email to send me a copy. You don’t need to query me first; feel free to just send the stories along in RTF format. Please include “Cthulhu/Mythos Fiction” in the subject line, along with your name and/or the name of your story. (Note that these stories should have been previously published, since this is a reprint anthology.).”
There is, of course, no shortage of Mythos fiction that we could suggest (including stories from our own fabulous writers), so feel free to chime in and tell Adams about all that good Mythos fiction you’ve read.
