Women in Horror Week

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]oday is International Women’s Day and for us, it’s Women in Horror Week.

This project started after our publisher noticed yet again another list of great horror writers of all time that failed to include any women. It’s not an unusual omission. So, we thought we’d help by assembling a list of the female horror writers we love. Perhaps you might discover some new names or go back in time to look at some oldies but goodies. Overall, we hope you have a good time.

We’ll be looking at Mary Shelley, Daphne du Maurier, Angela Carter, Shirley Jackson, and many other women over the next several days. It’s not an exhaustive compendium, just a few articles on the ladies that have rocked our horror socks off.
